Survey results in motion

Detecting passivhaus knowledge gaps is a first stepping stone towards providing better education materials for building professionals in SEE countries. Passivhaus principles remain the same, regardless of the location, but regional specifics and building tradition must be taken into account additionally. After all, construction is a process that is inseparable in value to time (A. Rossi). Therefore, we conducted an online survey among high educated building professionals in Italy, Croatia and Greece, in order to detect passivhaus knowledge gaps. Almost 700 responses were gathered. The full statistical analysis of the survey results, is publicly available on our webpages. Before reading the report, we are inviting you to watch a short SEEDpass video, which reveals the story behind the survey.

Passivhaus is a building, for which thermal comfort (ISO 7730) can be achieved solely by post-heating or post-cooling of the fresh air mass, which is required to achieve sufficient indoor air quality conditions – without the need for additional recirculation of air.
